My takeaway from listening to 100 franchise pitches in 3 days

Last week I sat through 100+ franchise pitches over three days. Home services, health and wellness, senior care, beauty, pets, B2B — mostly non-food brands you've never heard of.

I've done this for 25 years. I've watched brands walk in with a handful of locations and zero name recognition, then become national names within a few years. That's the benefit of being in the room: you see what's developing long before the rest of the market does.

But this time, it wasn't a brand that stuck with me. It was the stories of the successful franchise owners.

Same story, again and again: someone spent 15–20 years building a successful corporate career — then realized they were building someone else's company, on someone else's timetable.

So they made a change. Not because they hated their career. Because they wanted control over the next 10 or 20 years of their life.

These weren't lifelong entrepreneurs. They were sales execs, operations leaders, finance people — sitting in the same meetings you sit in, with the same mortgages and reasons to keep putting it off.

Some now own multiple territories. Some have built seven-figure businesses. Their lives didn't change because they found a secret opportunity. They changed because they stopped wondering and started seriously evaluating.

If any of this sounds familiar — you research at night, imagine life outside corporate America, then Monday comes and the idea goes back on the shelf — let's talk.

I won't tell you a franchise is right for you. I don't know that yet, and for plenty of people, it isn't. But there are real opportunities beyond restaurants, and many of the people succeeding in them started exactly where you are now.

Let's hop on a call. Like a real estate agent, my service is free — franchise companies pay my bill. Worst case, you get clarity and go back to your career knowing you explored the alternative.
